A stand-by generator is a pre-packaged, fully-automatic generator system. The system is designed to supply electrical power to pre-selected emergency circuits that supply things such as lighting, heat, air conditioning, hot water, well pumps, sump pumps, appliances, etc. With our high-quality transfer switches, the stand-by generator produces electricity without the customer having to lift a finger!

Your automatic stand-by generator system will perform a weekly "exercise-test" to ensure it's ready when you need it. The system will turn on for approximately 12-15 minutes and run-check itself. During this period power will not be transferred or interupted. If a power outage occurs by coincidence during the exercise period the ATS will automatically trasfer power per the normal sequence of operations.
